Financial aid decisions are based on information applicant families provide to SSS (School and Student Services), an offering of the National Association of Independent Schools. Financial aid awards are made to qualified students who have enrolled in Fort Worth Academy. Awards are made by the FWA Financial Aid Committee and are strictly confidential. Financial aid is funded by Fort Worth Academy and is awarded on a yearly basis with decisions made in April and May.
To Apply for Financial Aid:

To be considered for financial aid, a family must apply by submitting a (PFS) Parents’ Financial Statement available online from the National Association of Independent Schools. www.nais.org

Follow the steps for completing the "Financial Aid Application (Parents Financial Statement)"

Submit a signed copy of your Federal Income Tax Return (including Form 1040, all schedules and W-2 forms) to SSS and Fort Worth Academy by March 15.

Submit the PFS information to NAIS and the 2011 Federal Income Tax Returns to NAIS and FWA by March 1st.

The Financial Aid Committee reviews financial aid applications only after all of the information has been received, and the applicant is enrolled in Fort Worth Academy. All awards are based on financial need. Financial aid contracts must be formally accepted and signed by the stated deadline.
Applying for financial assistance has no impact on admission decisions. All financial aid information is confidential and is used to determine financial need.
