Aya Alame, FWA ’07, who received the prestigious George Tade Award from Fort Worth Academy, also received a 2011 National Merit Scholarship.  Aya was salutatorian of the Fort Worth Country Day Class of 2011 and is attending Harvard University with a major in biology.

Sage Moore, FWA ’07, graduated third in his class from Carter-Riverside High School in Fort Worth ISD and was president of the CRHS Chapter of the National Honor Society.  Sage is attending the University of Texas at Austin where he was awarded a full scholarship to study bio-medical engineering.

Joe Eric Rice, FWA ’99, FWCDS ’03, SMU ’07, graduated from Emory University School of Law in December 2010, and received word this week of his admittance to the Texas Bar Association.

Mike Spears, FWA ’00, FWCD ’04, Elon University ’08, graduated from the University of Miami with a master’s degree in May 2011. Mike will continue at the University of Miami, pursuing a PhD in film studies/archives.  He will also serve as a graduate assistant and teaching assistant. 

Drew Spears, FWA ’04, FWCD ’08, also graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in May 2011. Drew is moving to Los Angeles where he will work in the entertainment industry, hopefully with the E Network, while writing the next great American screenplay. 

Drew and Mike Spears are both members of the Fort Worth Academy Nine Year Club.
