Musical expression and appreciation begin with our youngest students at the kindergarten level. Through active participation Lower School students are encouraged to explore their musical intelligence through activities including movement, creative dramatics, rhythm instruments, and song incorporating Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze approaches.  The content of the course increases as the students mature. The Middle School program extends music concepts to include instrumental music, ensemble training and music appreciation.  Musical literacy is our goal, while also affording our students performance opportunities during the fall and spring semesters.

The Fort Worth Academy Band was established in 2001. We encourage players of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments to perform at our pep rallies and special events, as well as at their annual concert.
