Preparing your children for their tomorrow... today!

Forth Worth Academy
Theater Arts

Students develop an age appropriate understanding and appreciation of theater history, styles and cultures through exploration and performances. Creative movement, formal World folk dance forms, and drama improvisational games with movement and musical integration keep students interested and involved.  During the fall term, students of all levels perform in a school-wide production at the annual Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day celebration.  In the spring semester, Lower School and Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in grade level spring musicals.

Music, drama, and dance are integrated into performances and assemblies throughout the year. Special dramatic performances enable students to produce, stage and perform traditional and original works.  Recent dramatic productions include “Sound of Music”, "The 70's Review".  “Peter Pan”, and “The Wizard of Oz”.
