Forth Worth Academy
Facilities

Wireless campus
Fort Worth Academy’s twenty-one acre hillside campus is located in southwest Fort Worth. The facility features modern classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment and a campus-wide Wi-Fi network, enabling students to connect with peers across the campus, across town, across the country and all over the world.

Science Labs
There are three science labs at FWA, one uniquely designed for young children. The lower school science lab is home to several living observation projects, two bearded dragons, and a blue tongue skink to name a few. Age-appropriate, hands-on science lessons and experiments keep students awestruck and excited to learn.

Two middle school science labs contain all the elements for real time experimentation that grades 5-8 need to discover the world of science and its possibilities.

Library/Discovery Center
Our Library/Discovery Center is designed to be our Windows to the World both literally and figuratively. It offers team rooms for class exercises or group projects, traditional library resources, wireless internet connection for access to outside sources of learning, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking our world right here in southwest Fort Worth.

Athletic Complex
Completed in 2002; Talbott Fields include a regulation baseball diamond, a regulation football/soccer field, shade structures and a field house. The neighboring gymnasium is fully equipped for basketball, volleyball and physical education.

Performing and Visual Arts Facilities
The visual art area is specially-designed, complete with a slab roller, five potters’ wheels, a kiln, and equipment for projects including silk screen, print-making and paper-making. A performing arts area with stage is located in the cafetorium and a dedicated area for music classes from K-8 and middle school band rehearsal needs is located in the main building.
