Preparing your children for their tomorrow... today!

Forth Worth Academy
Parent Connections

FWA parents are extremely generous with their time, talent and resources. They are indispensable, integral, active participants in accomplishing the school’s mission. Teachers and staff at Fort Worth Academy welcome this and believe the success of each student is achieved in partnership with parents. There is a conscious effort to maintain close communication with parents through newsletters, conferences, progress reports, email, Facebook, Twitter, and RenWeb.

There is a place for every parent to become involved at Fort Worth Academy. Organizing fundraiser activities and class parties, fall carnival, working the gate at an athletic event, as a library assistant, chaperoning field trips, and collecting items for class projects are a few of the many ways our parents stay involved.

Parents’ Club
All parents and teachers are members of the Parents’ Club-no dues. The Parents’ Club hosts a number of events, beginning in October, to start the year. The group also manages the Uniform Resale Store, room parent initiatives and teacher appreciation efforts. The Parents' Club also co-hosts a Parent Forum in the spring in coordination with All Saints Episcopal School, Fort Worth Country Day, and Trinity Valley School.

Diversity and Equity Committee
The Diversity and Equity Committee includes board members, parents, faculty, staff and administration. Its purpose is to strengthen and sustain an inclusive learning environment at Fort Worth Academy by facilitating ongoing communication with all members of the FWA community.
