At Fort Worth Academy, our children are encouraged every day to dream, to imagine, to wonder as they become global learners and citizens; WHILE establishing a solid foundation for success now, later in high school, college and beyond.   It is an incredible combination of efforts, leading to an equally incredible result.

Big dreams and firm foundations are prevalent at FWA; and we would like to highlight just a few of the most recent successes:

• Our eighth graders, the FWA Class of 2012, are currently experiencing active and assertive recruitment from area high schools, both private and public.
• Ninety-three percent of our most recent graduates, FWA Class of 2011, were accepted and enrolled at their high school of first choice.
• The twenty-eight members of the FWA Class of 2007 received notices of acceptance last spring from top-tier colleges and universities across the country, including, but not limited to Austin College, Boston University, Duke University, Harvard University, Oklahoma University, Oregon State University, Texas A&M University, University of Alabama; University of Texas at Austin, Vanderbilt University, and Vassar College; and received more than $700,000 in scholarship awards.
• Joe Eric Rice, FWA ’99, Fort Worth Country Day ’03, Southern Methodist University ’07, Emory University College of Law ’11, was admitted to the Texas Bar Association in April; Jeremy Allen, FWA ’02, Arlington Heights High School Valedictorian ’06, University of Southern California ’10, is employed as a writer/designer in New York City; Angie Johnston, FWA ’04, Paschal High School Valedictorian ’08, University of Texas at Dallas, ’12, will next head to Yale University for PhD studies.
