1:1 LAPTOP

Since its inception at Fort Worth Academy, the 1:1 Laptop Program (the first in North Texas) has revolutionized student engagement and knowledge acquisition.  At FWA, we continue to consider new pedagogies for our students of the 21st century, acknowledging the increasingly complex role technology plays in our lives and celebrating the world-wide connectivity it brings. To remain relevant in a global age, our school offers authentic and safe experiences that foster creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving and collaborative learning.

Tuition Assistance

Fort Worth Academy's mission is to educate motivated, capable children from kindergarten through eighth grade in a collaborative environment of academic challenge and individual attention so students prosper as learners and citizens. Additionally, the Fort Worth Academy community celebrates diversity as an invaluable and integral aspect of the learning experience, indeed of the human experience. Our collective, individual differences broaden our perspective, shape our character and feed our compassion. At Fort Worth Academy, our diversity makes us strong.

By offering tuition assistance, Fort Worth Academy is able to address an unmet need to educate children who are capable, no matter the race, religion, culture, creed, gender, age, family structure, physical ability, learning style, or socioeconomic condition.  The targeted population is children whose families are interested in preparing their children through an education at a private K-8 school; yet due to their limited financial resources are not able to pay the full tuition amount.

If you are interested in providing a gift to support the 1:1 Laptop or Tuition Assistance Projects, please contact Marcia Garoon, Chief Financial Officer at 817-370-1191.

Fort Worth Academy appreciates your interest in our special projects and encourages you to contact us for further information.
