Philosophy of Belonging
The Fort Worth Academy community values diversity and belonging as an integral part of the learning experience. Our collective individual differences bring us together, broaden our perspective, shape our character, feed our compassion, and make us stronger. Thus, we seek to understand and respect identities and differences and value the connections we all share within our community of belonging.

Our commitment to supporting diversity, inclusion, and belonging is foundational. It is approached through an ongoing and evolving process that involves the entire school community and is demonstrated through school curriculum, activities, events, and speakers. We prepare students to excel in an increasingly diverse society by providing learning opportunities about people, places, and cultures in ways that are empathetic, innovative, and enlightening. Our faculty and staff, model and teach acceptance, understanding, caring, and respect with the aim of creating a sense of belonging among every member of our community.
